"Fotee" Privacy Policy Summary: Personal Information Protection Guidelines

Quantum Realm Information Technology (Chengmai) Limited and its affiliates (hereinafter referred to as "we") as the operator of "Fotee", fully understand the importance of personal information to you. We will protect your personal information and privacy security in accordance with legal regulations.

This guide will help you intuitively and concisely understand how we collect, process, and use personal information, as well as how we protect your privacy. For more detailed information, please read the complete "Fotee Privacy Policy".

1 How We Collect and Use Information

1.1 Contact Information

[Registration and Login] You need to use a mobile phone number to register and log in to your account.

[Contacting You] Your mobile phone number may be used to send you operational, promotional, and event information, or to contact you by phone for research interviews, complaint feedback, etc.

[Special Note] If you do not wish to receive operational, promotional, or event information, you can unsubscribe as specified in the SMS.

1.2 Account Information

[Setting Account Information] When registering an account, you need to set a profile picture and nickname. You can choose to fill in additional information such as a bio.

[Using Third-Party Accounts to Log In] When using a third-party account to log in, you authorize us to obtain your information from the third-party platform (public information such as profile picture and nickname, as well as other information you authorize).

1.3 Device and Service Information

[Device Information and Log Information] To ensure the secure operation, quality, and efficiency of the software and services, while you use Fotee, we may collect your device information and log information. Device information refers to information related to device performance, such as device model, network identifier, network access information, etc., which may be referred to as "telephone information" on mobile devices; this does not mean the app collects communication content or personally entered private information. Log information refers to service logs generated during your use of the service.

[Special Note] Device and log information are also commonly used for anti-cheating and determining whether an account is in a secure environment. Some information may also be used for ad targeting. Currently, most mobile systems support changes to device identifiers; specific methods can be found in the device or manufacturer's instructions.

1.4 Camera/Photo Album

[Image Editing, Feedback] Camera and photo album permissions (storage space) are sensitive permissions. We will only use them when you explicitly authorize them for functions such as image editing or feedback in Fotee. You can also withdraw your authorization at any time.

[Special Note] We will never activate the camera or access your photo album without permission to steal your privacy, read your image content, or collect your daily chat conversations, nor will we use such illegal methods for information or ad targeting.

1.5 Clipboard

[Sharing, Identification] When you share or receive shared information, participate in activities, etc., the Fotee client needs to access your clipboard locally to write or read passwords or links to enable functions such as redirection, sharing, or activity linkage.

[Statistical Analysis] We may need to statistically analyze the source of information through the clipboard. During this process, we will not transmit personal private information you write to the clipboard.

[Special Note] Some mobile devices' systems may prompt that an app is reading the clipboard, but this prompt cannot distinguish whether the clipboard information is being collected and may include false positives. Therefore, if you see such a prompt, please contact us so we can identify the issue.

1.6 Usage Information

[Usage Behavior] When you use Fotee, we will record your clicks, comments, follows, likes, favorites, searches, browsing, downloads (exports), shares, etc.

[Content Publishing] If you are a Fotee creator, when you actively publish content, we will record the templates and other content you publish.

[Tools] When you use tools such as effects, filters, and stickers provided by Fotee to edit and download (export) or publish content, some tools require processing your personal information:

If you choose to use tools that need to align with facial features in images during editing, we need to recognize your facial feature values to provide better visual effects. Unless otherwise specified and with your separate consent, we will not transmit, store, or provide this information to third parties; it will only be processed locally on your device (e.g., phone). AI-powered effects or creative tools may need to upload your images to the server for technical reasons. Rest assured, unless otherwise specified, we will immediately delete the images you upload after returning the effect.

1.7 Sensor Information

[Motion Interaction] When you perform actions such as "shake to refresh" or other motion-dependent interactions or activities, we will use your device's sensors (e.g., accelerometer, gyroscope, gravity sensor; sensor data alone does not constitute personal information) to recognize your movements for participation or to display the next interaction scenario.

2 Use of Personal Information in Main Functions or Services

2.1 Content Recommendation: Recommending Content That May Interest You More

To recommend templates and related information that may interest you more, we will collect and use usage information and device information, and our server will combine this information to provide you with personalized content recommendation services. Please note that the HarmonyOS version of Fotee currently does not offer content recommendation services and is not subject to this clause or related content recommendation clauses.

We will comprehensively analyze your device information, behavior information when using Fotee, the personal information you provide, and other information collected from Fotee with your authorization or provided by other partners. Through algorithms, we will analyze your characteristics and preferences to predict your preferences and recommend, display, or push content or information that may interest you, or push specific functions or services that are more suitable for you.

2.2 Ad Targeting: Sending You Promotional Information About Goods or Services

We will send you promotional information about goods or services (ads), including information recommended based on your preferences and general information without specific targeting. Please note that the HarmonyOS version of Fotee currently does not offer ad targeting services and is not subject to this clause or related ad targeting clauses.

We may share information with partners who conduct promotions and ad placements, but we will take necessary technical measures to provide you with more relevant promotional information without identifying your personal identity.

We may share group profiles or statistical information with service providers, suppliers, and other partners. This information is difficult or impossible to associate with your real identity. It will help us analyze and measure the effectiveness of ads and related services.

2.3 AI Image Processing Features

To provide you with diverse product features and services, help you improve creative efficiency, and meet your diverse needs for intelligent and convenient working methods, we leverage our R&D and technological advantages to continuously offer various product features and services based on generative or deep synthesis artificial intelligence technology (collectively referred to as "AI Image Processing Features"). AI Image Processing Features generally work by generating images and other content based on your input instructions through automated analysis. These features aim to provide you with more creative options and convenience, including but not limited to AI portraits, etc.

You understand and acknowledge that different AI features may vary in the scope, method, and purpose of personal information collection and processing. When you use the AI portrait feature, we will process the images you actively upload using AI technology to generate facial profiles and portrait photos for you. We will not use the images you upload for other purposes. After generating a facial profile, you can enter [My Facial Profile] in the AI portrait feature to add or delete generated facial profiles. If you choose to delete a facial profile, we will simultaneously delete the images you previously uploaded. Please note that once deleted, the data cannot be recovered, so proceed with caution.

3 How to Better Control the Use of Personal Information

3.1 Managing Your Personal Information

We provide convenient personal information management capabilities. You can manage your various information in the Fotee mobile client under [Edit] - [≡] Settings - Personal Information Collection Settings, Personal Information Collection List, Personalized Recommendation Settings, Ad Display Settings, etc.

We provide a basic function mode. After entering this mode, we will provide you with basic function services based only on the necessary information collected.

3.2 Managing Personalized Content Recommendations

You can turn on or off the personalized content recommendation switch we provide in the Fotee mobile client under [Edit] - [≡] Settings - [Personalized Recommendation Settings], and decide whether to receive personalized recommended content. Please note that the HarmonyOS version of Fotee currently does not offer content recommendation services.

You can independently subscribe to desired content, follow users of interest, and adjust according to your needs.

When there is no content of interest to you, you can also enter keywords of interest in the search bar and click to read the search results.

3.3 Managing Personalized Ad Targeting

You can decide whether to receive personalized ads in the Fotee mobile client under [Edit] - [≡] Settings - [Ad Display Settings]. After turning it off, the number of ads pushed to you will not change, but the relevance of the ads will decrease. Please note that the HarmonyOS version of Fotee currently does not offer ad targeting services.

3.4 Account Deletion

You can delete your account in the Fotee mobile client (iOS and Android: [Edit] - [≡] Settings - [Account & Security] - [Delete Account]; HarmonyOS: [Edit] - [≡] Settings - [Delete Account]). After deletion, we will delete your relevant information. If deleting personal information is technically difficult, we will anonymize it or stop processing it except for storage and necessary security protection measures, unless otherwise required by laws and regulations.

"Fotee" refers to the client application, official website, and software development kits (SDKs) and application programming interfaces (APIs) for third-party websites and applications legally owned and operated by "Quantum Realm Information Technology (Chengmai) Limited" and its affiliates (hereinafter referred to as "we").

As the operator of "Fotee", we fully understand the importance of personal information to you and will protect your personal information and privacy security in accordance with legal regulations. We have formulated this privacy policy and specifically remind you: Please read and understand this privacy policy carefully before using Fotee and related services to make appropriate choices.

Summary

We will introduce how we process personal information in different scenarios through this privacy policy. When you enable or use Fotee, to achieve the functions or services you choose to use or to comply with legal requirements, we will process relevant information. Except for the information necessary to achieve the basic functions and services of Fotee and the information required by laws and regulations, you can refuse our processing of other information, but this may result in our inability to provide the corresponding functions or services. We will explain the relevant circumstances item by item in the privacy policy. Important clauses regarding your personal information rights are highlighted in bold for your special attention.

In addition to this privacy policy, in specific scenarios, we will also explain the corresponding information collection purpose, scope, and usage through instant notifications (including pop-ups, page prompts, etc.), function update descriptions, etc. These instant notifications and function update descriptions form part of this privacy policy and have the same effect as this privacy policy.

1 How We Collect and Use Personal Information

1.1 Account Services

1.1.1 Registration and Login

When you register and log in to Fotee and related services, you can create an account using your mobile phone number and complete relevant online identity verification information (nickname, avatar). We collect this information to help you complete registration. Collecting your mobile phone number is necessary to comply with national laws and regulations on real-name authentication (real identity information authentication). If you refuse to provide your mobile phone number for registration and login, we may not be able to provide you with information publishing functions (including publishing templates, comments, etc.). After registering and logging in to your account, you can fill in your personal profile (bio), which we will collect to display to other users.

Based on our cooperation with telecommunications operators, when you use the "One-Click Login" function, with your consent, we will use the functions provided by the operator to use the mobile phone number on your device as your registration and login account without password or dynamic verification code verification, providing you with quick registration and login services. If you do not wish to use the "One-Click Login" function, you can register and log in to Fotee through other methods.

You can use a third-party account (e.g., Douyin account, Apple ID) to register and log in to Fotee, but you need to authorize us to obtain your information from the third-party platform (public information such as avatar and nickname, as well as other information you authorize) to generate a Fotee account bound to the third-party account, allowing you to directly register, log in, and use Fotee and related services. In some cases, we may need to re-verify and bind your mobile phone number to confirm the authenticity and relevance of the third-party account.

1.1.2 Real-Name Authentication

You can contact us to apply to become a Fotee creator according to Fotee's operational rules. After approval, we will grant you the corresponding creator permissions. After becoming a Fotee creator, you can publish your creative design works (e.g., photo templates) on Fotee. Please understand and authorize that if you choose to redirect to Douyin Wallet to withdraw Fotee creator earnings, you need to use real identity information (real name, ID number, which may vary depending on the actual situation) to complete the real-name authentication of your Douyin account. You agree to authorize us to provide this real-name authentication information for identifying the real identity of creators who earn creator earnings or for other purposes stipulated by laws and regulations. Without your explicit authorization, it will not be used for other purposes. If you refuse to provide this information, it will lead to unclear authorization and inability to obtain creator earnings, thus preventing withdrawal through Douyin Wallet. You can choose whether to undergo real-name authentication. An unauthenticated account will not affect your use of other functions or services that do not require real-name authentication. However, if we have reasonable grounds to believe that your Fotee account is at risk, we may also verify the security of the account through real-name authentication.

1.1.3 Public Account Information

You can independently fill in your bio to complete your information. Not filling in information will not affect your use of the Fotee account and services.

Your number of follows and follow list, number of fans and fan list, publicly published works, and works you have favorited will be publicly displayed on the personal homepage of your account.

When we publish penalty announcements for violations, we will disclose the nicknames and other information of the violating accounts.

1.2 Content Browsing and Search

While you browse Fotee content, we will record your usage. If you are not logged in to an account, we will record your [clicks, browsing, downloads (exports), shares, feedback] through the identifier information corresponding to your device. If you are logged in to an account, we will record your [clicks, browsing, downloads (exports), shares, follows, favorites, feedback, publishing, likes, comments, etc.] through your Fotee account.

When you use the search function, we will collect and analyze your search keyword information and search log records. Relevant search terms may be displayed based on your search/browsing history, log information, etc.

After you actively turn off personalized recommendations, we will provide you with non-personalized content.

1.3 Information Publishing

1.3.1 Image Editing and Content Publishing

When you take photos in Fotee, actively import/upload, or publish content (including but not limited to creative design works, comments, feedback, etc.), we will request your authorization for photo album and camera permissions based on the specific functions and service types you use. If you refuse to authorize, you will not be able to use the shooting or publishing functions, but this will not affect your use of other functions of Fotee.

You understand and agree that after authorizing Fotee to access storage/photo album permissions, to provide you with a high-quality service experience, including but not limited to improving the speed of opening local photo albums and content previews, enabling real-time synchronization and preview of collage works in the "Works Collection," and display functions, we will access your photo album at a minimal frequency within a reasonable range each time you exit and reopen Fotee for the sole purpose of preloading the local photo album as described above. If you do not agree, you can choose not to authorize this permission or withdraw your authorization at any time through the path provided in the Fotee app or your phone's system. At the same time, the collage works you generate and export to the local device will exist both locally and in the Fotee Works Collection page. If you delete them locally, they will also be deleted from the Works Collection. Please note that once deleted, the data cannot be recovered, so proceed with caution.

We highly value the user experience. When using Fotee's community circle services, to improve image upload speed and optimize the experience, when you publish image content, we will temporarily load the images you select to the server before you click "Publish" to confirm the upload. If you cancel or fail to publish successfully for other reasons, we will immediately delete the relevant content. We respect your right to choose. If you want to turn off the preloading function, you can do so through the path described in this privacy policy.

Your published content will display your avatar, nickname, and other information.

1.3.2 Tools

When you use tools such as effects, filters, and stickers provided by Fotee to edit and download (export) or publish content, some tools require processing your personal information:

When you follow or unfollow creators on Fotee, we will create/adjust follow and fan relationships.

1.4.2 Interaction

When you interact with other users on Fotee, including but not limited to following, commenting, etc., to maintain service stability, we may collect your interaction information. If you browse or share other users' content or visit other users' personal homepages, we will record the interaction between users.

1.4.3 "Shake" and Other Motion-Dependent Interactions

When you perform "shake" or other motion-dependent interactions or activities, we will use your device's sensors (such as accelerometer, gyroscope, gravity sensor; sensor data alone does not constitute personal information) to recognize your movements for participation or to display the next interaction scenario.

1.5 Algorithms and Personalized Decision-Making

To provide you with rich and diverse product features and services, our product features use some algorithm services. You can click here to view the various algorithm services we use and their algorithm filing status, as well as their basic principles, purposes, and main operating mechanisms, to help you fully understand the algorithm services we use and protect your right to know and choose.

After processing with secure encryption technology, strict de-identification, and inability to re-identify specific individuals, we may use the collected data for algorithm model optimization and continuously adjust the algorithm's effects. We will not use it for any other purpose without your consent.

1.5.1 Personalized Recommendations

To display and recommend more relevant information to you and provide services that better meet your requirements, Fotee will collect and use your personal information and automatically calculate and predict your preferences through computer algorithm models to match information or services that may interest you (this feature is temporarily unavailable in the HarmonyOS version). Below, we will explain in detail the operating mechanism of this personalized recommendation service and how you can control it:

(1) Scope of personalized recommendation services: The scope of personalized recommendation services we provide includes but is not limited to displaying image templates, recommending ads, etc.

(2) Fields collected for personalized recommendation services: To provide you with personalized services, we may collect and use your device information, behavior information when using Fotee (including your search, click, publish, follow, favorite, browse, download, share, and transaction records related to your operations when using Fotee), the personal information you provide (including nickname, avatar, and other account information), and other information collected from Fotee with your authorization or provided by other partners. The system will automatically analyze and calculate the above information to predict your preference characteristics and provide you with personalized recommended content and services based on the calculation results.

(3) Training and intervention of personalized recommendation services: We will train and provide real-time feedback to the recommendation model based on your browsing-related behavior when using Fotee, continuously adjusting and optimizing the recommendation results. To meet your diverse needs and avoid excessive concentration of similar content, we will comprehensively use diversified technologies to automate content processing and better provide you with high-quality content and services.

You can turn off personalized content recommendations as described in Section 3.1.3 of this privacy policy or turn off personalized or programmatic ad targeting as described in Section 3.1.4. After turning it off, we will not process your personal information for the purpose of personalized recommendations but will only push content or ads that are universally relevant and unrelated to your preferences.

If you believe that some of our decisions in personalized recommendation services are made through automated decision-making mechanisms and these decisions have a significant impact on your legal rights, you can contact us via the email support@quantum-realm.ltd provided in Section 8.2 of this privacy policy, requesting us to explain. You have the right to refuse decisions made solely through automated decision-making.

1.6.1 Message Notifications

You acknowledge and agree that during operations, we may send you one or more types of notifications through the contact information you provide while using the product and/or services (e.g., phone number), such as message notifications, identity verification, security verification, and user experience surveys. Additionally, we may send you commercial information about services, features, or activities that may interest you via SMS or phone. Please rest assured that if you do not wish to receive such information, you can unsubscribe through the unsubscribe method provided in the SMS or contact us directly to unsubscribe.

We will send you system notifications through your device to push your account dynamics, dynamics of creators or content you follow, recommended content, etc. You can choose to turn off Fotee notifications in your device settings.

1.6.2 Sharing and Interaction

When you share or receive shared information, participate in activities, etc., the Fotee client needs to access your clipboard locally to write or read passwords or links to enable functions such as redirection, sharing, or activity linkage. The Fotee client will only upload your clipboard content to our server when it identifies that the clipboard content belongs to Fotee redirection, sharing, or activity linkage instructions. Apart from this, the Fotee client will not upload other information from your clipboard or photo album to our server.

Some mobile device systems may prompt that an app is reading the clipboard or photo album, but this prompt cannot distinguish between local processing and uploading to the server, and due to differences in statistical methods, false positives may occur. Therefore, if you see such a prompt and have questions, please contact us so we can identify the issue.

1.7 Operations and Secure Operation

We are committed to providing you with a secure and trustworthy product and usage environment. Providing high-quality and reliable services and information is our core goal. To maintain the normal and stable operation of related products or services and protect the safety and legitimate interests of you, other users, or the public, we will collect the following necessary information:

(1) To ensure the secure operation, quality, and efficiency of the software and services, while you use Fotee, we will collect your hardware model, operating system version, device identifier (Android: IMEI/MEID, Android ID, OAID, IMSI, SIM card information (e.g., ICCID), GAID, hardware serial number (SN); iOS: IDFV, IDFA; HarmonyOS: OAID, ODID; different identifiers vary in validity period, whether they can be reset by the user, and how they are obtained), network device hardware address (device MAC address), IP address, WLAN access point (e.g., SSID, BSSID), Bluetooth, base station, software version number, network access method/type/status, network quality data, operation/usage/service logs, device sensor data (e.g., accelerometer, gyroscope, gravity sensor).

(2) To prevent malicious programs and ensure operational quality and efficiency, while you use Fotee, we will collect installed application list information, software list or running process information, overall application operation, usage and frequency, application crashes, overall installation and usage, performance data, application source.

(3) We may collect account information, device information, and service log information generated during your use of Fotee. Using this information and information obtained from our affiliates or partners with your authorization or as permitted by law, we will determine account security, transaction security, conduct identity verification, identify illegal or non-compliant situations, and detect and prevent security incidents, taking necessary recording, analysis, and disposal measures in accordance with the law.

1.8 Use of Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies and device identifier technologies are commonly used on the internet. When you use Fotee and related services, we may send one or more cookies or anonymous identifiers to your device to collect and identify information about your access and use of Fotee. We promise not to use cookies for purposes other than those stated in this privacy policy. We use cookies and similar technologies mainly to achieve the following functions or services:

(1) Ensure the secure and efficient operation of products and services: We may set authentication and security cookies or anonymous identifiers to confirm whether you have logged in securely or encountered theft, fraud, or other illegal activities. These technologies also help us improve service efficiency and enhance login and response speed.

(2) Help you obtain a more relaxed access experience: Using such technologies can help you avoid repeatedly entering personal information, repeatedly selecting image editing tool settings, photo template functions (e.g., recording filter settings), and entering search content (e.g., recording searches, form filling).

(3) Recommend, display, and push content that may interest you: We may use such technologies to understand your preferences and usage habits, conduct data analysis, improve product services, recommend information or features that interest users, and optimize your choices of ads or content.

(4) On Fotee's sharing pages, we may use cookies to record browsing activities to recommend information to you and troubleshoot crashes, delays, and other anomalies, as well as explore better service methods.

(5) Clearing cookies: If you use Fotee's official website, most browsers provide users with the function to clear browser cache data. You can clear cookie data in the browser settings, but clearing it may prevent you from using functions or services that rely on cookies provided by us.

1.9 Changes to Service Content

Please understand that as our business develops, we may adjust the products or services provided by Fotee. If the purpose, method, or scope of personal information processing changes due to adjustments to the products or services, we will notify you again and obtain your consent as required by relevant laws and regulations.

1.10 Legally Exempt Situations Where Consent Is Not Required for Processing Personal Information

Please understand that in the following circumstances, according to laws and regulations, we may collect your personal information without your authorization or consent:

(1) Necessary for concluding or performing a contract at your request;

(1) Message notifications: To adapt the message push function to the terminal model you use, terminal device manufacturers (e.g., Huawei, Xiaomi, OPPO, VIVO) may use your phone model, version, and related device information through SDKs and other technologies.

(2) Activity participation: When you choose to participate in marketing activities we host, with your consent, we and our partners may need to use your name, mailing address, contact information, bank account to fulfill activity rewards. At the same time, we may share your de-identified device information with our partners to verify your identity and identify and filter cheating and other illegal activities when fulfilling activity rewards. When you participate in marketing activities jointly hosted by us and our affiliates, your account (including identifiers), participation results, progress, earnings, and other information may be synchronized across multiple participating mobile applications (referred to as "activity platforms") to ensure you receive a complete service experience during the activity.

(3) Customer service: To promptly handle your complaints, suggestions, and other requests, customer service providers need to use your account and related information to promptly understand, process, and respond to your needs. If necessary, they may also need to contact you via phone or other communication methods.

(4) Payment services: The payment function is provided to you by third-party payment institutions (e.g., Alipay) cooperating with us through SDKs or related technologies. For this purpose, we must synchronize your device information with these third-party payment institutions. Additionally, other information necessary to achieve specific payment functions or services (including but not limited to your name, bank card information, mobile phone number, etc.) will be subject to the specific agreement between the third-party payment institution and you and will be collected directly by the third-party payment institution, which will bear the legal responsibility for the data.

2.2.2 Implementing Advertising and Promotion Services

We may share analyzed de-identified device information or statistical information with advertising service providers, suppliers, and other partners, as well as partners with whom we have promotional cooperation (collectively referred to as "partners"). This information is difficult or impossible to associate with your real identity. It will help us analyze and measure the effectiveness of advertising, promotion, and related services.

(1) Push and placement: Partners conducting push/promotion and ad placement or providing related services may need to use de-identified or anonymized device, network, channel information, and tag information; partners cooperating with advertisers/promoters for ad push/promotion, placement/analysis services may need to use the aforementioned information to achieve ad placement/promotion and optimize and improve the effective reach rate of ad/promotional content.

(2) Statistical analysis: Partners providing advertising, promotion, and related statistical analysis services may need to use your device, network, ad/promotional content clicks, browsing, display, and conversion data to analyze, measure, and improve the effectiveness of advertising, promotion, and related services.

(3) Partners' use of information: Partners may combine the aforementioned information with other data they legally obtain to optimize ad placement and/or promotional effects. We will require them to use the information in accordance with the principles of legality, legitimacy, and necessity to protect users' legal rights from infringement.

(4) Ad lead information: Contact information, address, and other related information you actively fill in and submit in ads may be collected and used by advertisers or their entrusted partners.

2.2.3 Ensuring Security and Conducting Statistical Analysis

(1) Ensuring usage security: We highly value the security of our products, services, and accounts. To protect the safety of your and other users' accounts and property and prevent our legitimate rights and interests from being infringed upon by illegal activities, our partners may use necessary device, account, and log information.

(2) Analyzing product conditions: To analyze the stability of Fotee's products and services, partners providing analysis services may need to use service conditions (crash, flash records), device identification information, overall installation and usage of applications, and other information.

(3) Academic research: To enhance research capabilities in related fields and promote the development of science and technology, we may use de-identified or anonymized data with cooperating research institutes, universities, and other institutions while ensuring data security and legitimate purposes.

2.3 Changes in Operating Entities

As our business continues to develop, we may undergo mergers, acquisitions, or asset transfers, and your personal information may be transferred as a result. In the event of such changes, we will require the successor to protect your personal information in accordance with laws and regulations and the security standards stated in this privacy policy. If the successor changes the original processing purpose or method, we will require the successor to obtain your authorization and consent again.

2.4 Cessation of Operations

If we cease operations of our products or services, we will promptly stop collecting your personal information. We will notify you individually or announce the cessation of operations and delete or anonymize the personal information related to the discontinued products or services that we hold.

2.5 Disclosure

We will not actively disclose information you have not made public unless required by national laws and regulations or with your consent.

2.6 Legally Exempt Situations Where Authorization or Consent Is Not Required

Please understand that in the following circumstances, according to laws, regulations, and national standards, partners' use or our transfer or disclosure of your personal information does not require your authorization or consent:

(1) Necessary for concluding or performing a contract at your request;

(3) Necessary for responding to public health emergencies or protecting the life and property safety of individuals in emergencies;

(4) Processing personal information within a reasonable scope for public interest purposes such as news reporting and public opinion supervision;

(6) Other circumstances stipulated by laws and regulations.

3 Managing Your Personal Information

We highly value your management of personal information and strive to protect your rights o access, copy, correct, supplement, delete, withdraw consent, delete accounts, and report complaints, enabling you to understand and safeguard your personal information security.

However, please understand that specific business functions and services require your information to be completed. After you withdraw consent or authorization, we will not be able to continue providing you with the corresponding functions and services and will no longer process your corresponding personal information. However, your decision to withdraw consent or authorization will not affect our previous processing of personal information based on your authorization.

The following descriptions apply only to the latest version of the Fotee mobile client. The paths for management methods in different versions or operating systems may vary; please refer to the actual situation.

3.1 Settings Management

3.1.1 Basic Function Mode

Image creation and editing are basic functions of Fotee. Therefore, if you only allow us to process personal information necessary to achieve basic functions, you can choose to enter basic function mode by turning off "Personalized Recommendations" before initially agreeing to the "Fotee" personal information protection guide pop-up.

In this mode, we will only process your personal information based on the need to provide basic functions and protect system security. That is, you can use image creation and editing functions, and the templates and other information you see will be randomly pushed by us from selected content.

3.1.2 System Permission Settings

(1) You can turn on or off permissions such as camera and photo album in your device's settings, change the authorization scope, or withdraw your authorization. After withdrawing authorization, we will no longer collect information related to these permissions, but this will not affect our previous processing of personal information based on your authorization. (2) You can choose whether to receive system notifications from Fotee in your device's settings or set the form of system notifications you wish to receive.
